Keith Nets First Goal Of Season As Hawks Roll to 6-0

The Chicago Blackhawks rolled to 6-0 as they defeated the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 in overtime. The Hawks six straight wins is the best start in team history. The previous mark was set by the 1971-72 team, which won five in a row.

Duncan Keith notched his first goal of the 2013 campaign with a power play blast early in the first period. Nick Leddy sealed the game for the Blackhawks in overtime.

    Now THIS is the feature content you want on your page! At an open practice [March 17, 2012] @ Johnny’s West] I watched Duncan devote 25 minutes of that session to taking shots on goal. He was the next-to-last Blackhawk to leave the ice that day. That practice has been validated with this rocket blast goal! I see quickness in all aspects of his play. [Whoa, that sounded a bit like Coach Q!] I see that he is fully engaged with the play over the entire ice. These are qualities that drew me in as his fan in the {}CUP{} run. Duncan D-man is back! We need you #2. So glad you’re on our side!

    Congrats on your first goal of this season. As a long time fan I want to thank you for your passion and dedication both on and off the ice to the Chicago Blackhawks! Your intensity is something to watch and the results speak for themselves ! The season is off to a good start and I believe our team has what it takes to go far ! Bring it !!!
