Keith Nets First Goal Of Season As Hawks Roll to 6-0

The Chicago Blackhawks rolled to 6-0 as they defeated the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 in overtime. The Hawks six straight wins is the best start in team history. The previous mark was set by the 1971-72 team, which won five in a row.

Duncan Keith notched his first goal of the 2013 campaign with a power play blast early in the first period. Nick Leddy sealed the game for the Blackhawks in overtime.

Hawks Fly To 4-0

The Chicago Blackhawks remain unbeaten after defeating the Dallas Stars 3-2 in overtime. Keith added an assist in the game, and Marian Hossa notched the overtime winner.

Hawks Win Home Opener vs Blues

The Chicago Blackhawks won their 2013 home opener vs. the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night. The 3-0 start marks the firs time since 1972 – 1973 the Blackhawks won the first 3 games of the season.

Duncan Keith notched his first point of the season on the second goal of the game. Keith also lead the Blackhawks in ice time with 22:45.

Chicago Takes First Two Out West

The Chicago Blackhawks start the year off right by winning their second game out west. The Hawks outscored the Phoenix Coyotes 6-4. This was the first meeting of the year for Chicago and Phoenix after going head to head in the Western Conference Quarterfinals 7 months ago.
