Duncan First Star As The Hawks Fly By The Canucks

Duncan Keith added an assist and was named the games first star as the Chicago Blackhawks flew by the Vancouver Canucks 5-1 in Vancouver. It was the 33rd meeting between the two bitter rivals in just over three years, a total that includes three-straight playoff series.

The Chicago Blackhawks tie a league-high for having six players on the All-Star ballot. Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook, Marian Hossa and 2011 All-Star Game MVP Patrick Sharp will appear on the league’s official ballot that consists of 127 players.

Voting concludes January 4, 2012. The top six vote-getters by position will take part in the 2012 NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, January 29 in Ottawa, Ontario.

Duncan Nets Second Goal of Season

Duncan Keith scored his second goal of the season, and added an assist as the Chicago Blackhawks downed the Edmonton Oilers 6-3 at the United Center Sunday night.

Duncan Scores 1st Goal of Season in 500th Career Game

Duncan Keith scored his 1st goal of the season at home with a blast from the point. The goal kicked off scoring for the Hawks as they flew by the Calgary Flames 4-1. Duncan Keith Back At Practice After Injury

Duncan returned to practice on Monday after sustaining a hand injury from blocking a shot that sidelined him for 3 games. Duncan and the Blackhawks remain optimistic that he will return to the lineup tonight against the St. Louis Blues.
